My husband and I wanted to have a Clambake on Labor Day weekend, 2007, for approximately 50 people. We found Wentzle's name in the Cape Cod Yellow Pages. We contacted him, he was available; and, taking a "leap of faith" because we did not know a thing about him, hired him to cater our party. In a nutshell, we could not have found a better person for the job. The Clambake went off without a hitch. His lobsters were all hardshell crustaceans. (Not one soft shell in the bunch) The chowder was creamy and flavorful. The corn on the cob was the BEST corn we have ever had. ( Wentzle explained to me that he buys it from a provider that puts it on ice the minute it is picked to keep it fresh.) The cole slaw and potato salad were very good, as well. The food was wonderful. It was enjoyed by everyone. The staff was so helpful to our older guests. Even though we had a buffet, the staff brought the food to our elderly relatives. We were so pleased with Wentzle's food and staff. In the future, we look forward to using his services. Seafood Specialties did a GREAT job!
