Terms

Once a client has picked their menu, Seafood Specialties requires a first payment, deposit of $250 or 10% of the total estimate (whichever is greater)

This non-refundable deposit and secures our services for the day of your event and covers the cost of contract preparation, on site visit (if possible) and puts you on the calendar.

In addition this commits us to the quoted price for the event assuming no extras are added between receipt of the deposit and the event date.

A second payment consisting of 50% of the job total, less the initial deposit payment, is due to Seafood Specialties two weeks prior to event date.

Final payment is due upon completion of the event unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Acceptable forms of payment include, personal or business check, bank check, money order or good ol’ cash.

We do not accept credit or debit card payments.

Gratuities : I have not found it necessary (unlike most catering companies) to include a built in mandatory gratuity.

My experience is that 90% of the clients recognize good service and thus have provided gratuities commensurate with our level of service.

If gratuity is in question, 15% is a great starting point.
